Getting Cheap Tires
How a Cheap Tire is Made

Tires do not have to come by expensive. There are ways to recycle tires and still be assured that it will perform as it did when it was new, or perhaps even better. When retreading an old tire, what manufacturers do first is to determine the kind of vehicle that will use it to identify the weight and air pressure that the tire will be carrying. A cheap tire does not necessarily have to mean that the tire is not dependable. To retread tires, recyclers need tire grinders, new tire threads, tread sealers, and industrial tire rubber adhesives.
Here is how a cheap tire is made:
It may seem to be a simple process but it required experience. After the old tire has been cleaned of defects like nails and other rubbish, the old tread is grinded down to the base of the tire. Rubber adhesive is applied as a coat and the new tread is applied. The tread should be straight when rolled in the ground and it should be kept even.
When retreading to make a cheap tire, it is also strongly recommended to have an adhesive in the backing of the tread. The tire is then sealed suing a tire sealer using several sheets of rubber. The tread sealer will cook the tires and this is done in a pressurized steam bath, not through fire. What happens here is that the steam bath will permanently seal the tire tread onto the base but it will not damage the tire.
