Finding Tire Wholesalers

Tire Wholesalers are a Dime-a-Dozen

Everybody knows how much tire wholesalers are out there in the market. These tires they sell are not only brand new but the choices also include used tires or retread ones. In fact, about 70% of the tires in the market are retread. There is a good reason for this number as will be explained below.

It was proven that retread tires as strong as its original state as it was when it was brand new. It functions the way new tires are expected to work and it may even be said that it can exceed its own mileage in its original state or condition when it was brand new. Scientists have proven that an average brand new tire can last up to 200,000 miles. When retread, the same tire can give up to 600,000 more miles! Of course, this is only possible if the retreading company has the same passion and commitment in tire development and technology as the original manufacturer. Quality is out of the question if you will purchase a retread tire from a reputable retreading company.

Another reason is the economy. A used tire that was retread only requires about 7 gallons of oil. Do you know how much it takes to produce a brand new tire? It takes 22 gallons. This means that tire manufacturers save about 400 million gallons of oil every year when they retread instead of manufacture new ones. Always keep in mind that oil cannot be recycled. When this energy is used, it is non-renewable.
