Affordable Tires and Cheap Prices: Tire Sales

Why Tire Sales is Everywhere

Tire sales are everywhere. In the United States alone, you will never run out of automotive stores that sell tires in very cheap price. The tires can either be brand new or old ones that are recycled. Either way, you may be interested to know that used tires are just about as good ones as long as the retread was done with quality. Some say that used tires that were retread may even exceed their own performance when they were brand new. In 1996 alone, there is an approximate of 266 million used tires sold in tire sales promotions. According to statistics, 76 percent of the market of tires are retread tires or used tires. This is primarily because retreading tires is a lot cheaper than making new ones. Retread tires can save up to 400 million gallons of crude oil—a non-renewable resource. It takes only about 7 gallons of oil o retread an old tire compared to the 22 gallons used when manufacturing a new one. As a result, more and more companies are venturing in the used tire business since its quality, as mentioned earlier, is just as good as new ones.

Tire sales are not hampered since the quality of recycled tires will match or even exceed those of new ones. Not only that, retread tires come in so many brands, including the popular ones, and these companies, of course, will not put their names at stake had they not carefully checked the quality of these recycled tires.
